What is Guaranteed? Growth.
Garden Route, SA by Mikyle . Beauty after the storm. Taken next to my former home.
Last week I celebrated my 37th solar return—fasting while solo navigating a very non-direct transfer from Tivat to Birmingham.
I felt like I was in a sitcom, witnessing a truly outrageous sequence of plane delays, train stalls, system crashes, boarding pass dramas, frustrating phone calls with dead-end customer service agents, international phone plan hiccups, credit card mishaps, etc. I missed flight 3 of 4 which required spending the night in London and purchasing brand new tickets. Still fasting and dealing with ongoing body challenges.
All first world problems, but did I mention the word epic? How about expensive? And this was all elective! Even though my explorations had been fruitful, expansive and rich, this Sag was about to swear off travel for good.
My friend Tom the pilot came to the rescue and put me on his buddy pass—by an act of divine intervention I was able to swing stand-by tickets to arrive in Alabama amidst the mayhem of Thanksgiving travel. I even got bumped up to business class! My sweet parents picked me up per usual, welcoming back their eccentric first-born and ready to sleep more soundly now that I was back in God’s country (jk).
But here’s what is current—the theme of guarantee. What is guaranteed? And what kind of guarantees do we still look for before following what draws us forward or acting upon what truly lights us up?
~
Part of me is enthralled with the adventure of Life. Most days I’m humbled and deeply grateful for the path that is mine to walk.
There are also moments of secret contemplation where I wonder if it is all worth it—the challenge, the pain, the heartbreak, the tumult—and I’m not talking about my most recent travels. I’m talking about the self-doubt that creeps in when I survey the the full spectrum of erratic spirals and cataclysmic tsunamis of my past 15-20 years.
I must confess, there are times in my most vulnerable, lonely, painful, exhausted moments that I question, “Has following the road less traveled actually served me?”
“Has honoring the way of Soul, treading the path of Mystery, trusting the call of Heart truly paid off?”
Most of me is a hell yes it’s worth it, and the best is yet to come. My inner being knows there is no other way, no matter how rocky the terrain. But there is also mental chatter that demands, “What do you actually have to show for your efforts?”
For in truth, I feel stripped to my core with little materially to show for years of unconventional health, financial, travel, relational, creative and social ventures. I’m also aware that many around me think I’ve lost my marbles.
And while the wisest voice of my being would not change a thing (and CAN see the fruit of my Tree) I’m not immune to comparison, and few parts of my life signal “success” according to standard metrics.
Which leads me back to the theme of guarantee.
When we follow the call of soul, there are no guarantees beyond: Life will usher us into a more rarefied, clarified, true expression of Love made real on this planet. We already have and will continue to have what we need to do what is ours to do, and this may or may not match expectations or mental preferences.
This is grace in its simplest form, and it holds within it the seed of authentic freedom. We can trust it. Yet it does little to assuage the insecurities of an identity or measure up to the scrutiny of society.
Everything that is not in alignment with purity will be undone through any means necessary. Get ready.
Every pseudo security will be ripped aside and shown for the facade that it is. You will be initiated into a dynamic dance with the untamed pulse of Existence that plays according to its own rules. It is beautiful, but it doesn’t play nice.

I’m having lots of conversations about guarantees these days as I bring my dream of gift-based investment pods into being. It’s a long story but I share some of the original vision here.
The pod cohort was intended to be a play-filled opportunity for wealth stewards who had done it all and were bored with the status quo. It was for those who were ready to move into a new echelon of Abundant Beingness—beyond excessive holding, incessant accumulating, and attachment to stale models of philanthropy, charity, investing and venture capital.
It was for those who were complete with contractual offering, guilt-driven giving, restricted receiving and the weight of debt that stifles the flow of true prosperity.
It was for those who had the stability, capacity, curiosity and desire to liberate pools of stagnating resources that are hindering personal and collective abundance. It is my desire that many get to taste and see that this is good.
It’s important to note that this way of being is not spiritual bypassing or mental projecting—it is built upon the knowing that sharing accurate overflow creates space for new, aligned abundance that inevitably returns in a fresh way, shape or form, even though there is no guarantee on the specific timing, channel or outcome.
It requires trust, surrender and a pioneer’s spirit. It springs from a deep inner movement that longs to do things differently, come what may. And sometimes what comes is challenging... for full disclosure : )
This is how I have been led to live my life now for many years. Call me crazy, but I see natural flow investing as a valid (and necessary!) investment strategy.
Does the tree have a notarized guarantee from Life that it will be resourced as it shares the fruit of its branches? Does the river withhold its offering downstream in fear of never being replenished upstream? Does the bee constrain itself to categories of charity, service or for-profit work? No way!
It is natural for the overflow of our being to rise up and emanate out, nourishing ourselves and then sharing excess with the Whole.
Indirect exchange and unconditional offering is the way of nature, and in the right context, it can be right for us too. But this takes attunement to the Whole and a certain level of embodiment in addition to calling. This isn’t aligned for everyone nor is it a one size fits all model. I write about this more extensively in my book.

A few months ago I let go of this dream. Perhaps it wasn’t the right time. Perhaps it wasn’t needed. Perhaps we weren’t ready. Perhaps I am not the one to steward this vision.

Shortly after this moment of surrender, a new form of the investment pods dropped in. This version has a guaranteed in-flow built in through performance engines and vetted financial relationships; it feels like a bridge, which are very necessary for these times.
This version has a “guaranteed” offering in the form of profit sharing that is fairly significant and even pushes against preconceived notions of what is possible for many. It will serve to enable greater financial freedom and flexibility for pod members while also providing a way to resource people and projects who need to be resourced to bring greater beauty into this world.
And here again, I am dealing with this theme of guarantee. Now that there is a guaranteed return, people want to know how it is guaranteed, why it is guaranteed, how can I prove to them that it is guaranteed, and so on.
Fair enough... We all need to exercise discernment as we engage with anything! Especially money and any form of relationship.
But I am not here to convince anyone with guarantees that can never be truly guaranteed. I am here to share opportunity, to engage authentically, to discuss risk and possibility, to invite people into their own inner knowing and personal instructions. I am here to steward and share the morphic field of Abundant Beingness, that is fundamentally dedicated to purity and the process of refinement above all else.
I can invite someone into exploration and adventure, but what unfolds is beyond any guarantee. This is not something that sells lol.
I’ll wrap this up by reiterating that following the path of inner guidance will absolutely deliver one thing, and that is earned wisdom and embodied learning that can never be taken away. When we walk the path that is ours to walk, we will emerge with greater purity and life-giving capacity. And Life will meet us on this path of discovery.
This is a stronger selling point than any monetary promise that can always collapse in on itself.
I’m in the business of radical authenticity and my offering is a chrysalis of purification. I’m here to invite you into possibility and to encourage you to follow the call of your inner wisdom above all else, come what may. I’ve never been into sales (clearly) and while I want to act responsibly, there is no such thing as an iron-clad guarantee for mentally derived models of “success”.
The pods are most definitely not for everyone, but for the right person, it could be life-changing. Give me a shout if you’re curious. xxx
